Empowering Students

About Me
Hi! I’m Jaelyn, the founder of JD Scholarly Support and a current Neuroscience (Pre-Med) student at The University of Texas at Austin. I love helping learners build skills and confidence in and out of the classroom.
In high school, I spent four years offering tutoring services free of charge -- helping friends and classmates, and mentoring students with disabilities. This experience strengthened my own learning and deepened my patience, empathy, and communication skills. By senior year, I took this a step further by interning with a junior chemistry class, assisting with labs and coursework.
As a college student, I’ve chosen to formalize my work not only to support my education but also to give back in a meaningful way. I spent my first weeks of life in the NICU. In honor of my mom’s strength during that time, I began assembling and delivering care packages with handwritten letters of encouragement to NICU mothers during my birthday month. It’s my way of honoring where my journey began and carrying forward the same compassion that inspired me to start tutoring in the first place.
Beyond academics, I played varsity tennis throughout high school -- earning Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, and League All-Star honors. As someone who was brand new to tennis, I started in doubles, where I learned the importance of communication and teamwork, and worked my way up to the #1 singles position.
